Come Say Hello

Restorative Yoga + Sound Bath

Melissa Myers + Liz Durkin + Andrew

Rest in the vibrational frequencies of the crystal singing bowls and awaken your body’s natural ability to heal itself. The bowls are all tuned to specific pitches aligning and cleansing your energy systems, massaging your organs and tissues, and singing to your soul. When our physical body is supported in a safe environment, our habitual holding patterns can begin to dissolve. This style of practice replaces effort with ease. Encouraging the parasympathetic nervous system in the body, this is the home to your rest, digest, and healing abilities. Each pose is held for 10-20 minutes, allowing your body time to process and detoxify excess stress hormones held in the tissues and experience deeper levels of relaxation.

You are welcomed here, come heal with us.

Restorative Yoga Teacher Training

with trauma informed methodology + practice

Jodi Boone + Heather Danso + Melissa Myers

SPRING DATE: TBD

"Restorative yoga is considered the true antidote to stress because it allows you to relax deeply with awareness. Relaxing with awareness is the key to bringing the mind-body into a state of balance or homeostasis, similar to the effect of meditation. It’s easy to be swept away by the demands of modern life. Today’s pace of life means we are often in a state of high alert, causing our bodies to release stress hormones that stimulate the ‘fight or flight’ response. This affects our ability to sleep soundly, digest our food, focus, feel grounded, and even our ability to conceive a child. Come experience the profound, yet subtle power of restorative yoga in this program, and learn to craft thoughtful sequences for yourself and others."
